Friday 1-3pm
The prison system – from the police to the courts to the detention centres – is inherently violent, harming the most marginalised in society with its classist, racist and transphobic structures.
In this workshop, we will discuss how prison abolition is fundamental to queerfeminist liberation.
We will learn about the connections between feminism, gentrificatoin and ethnic cleansing sorrounding the closure of Holloway prison, and the occupation of the space.
You can find out ways to get involved in working towards ending the prison system as queerfeminists.
